1993 Audi V8 Quattro 2.5/3.0” Stainless Exhaust

The local “muffler shop” had recently built an exhaust system on Jon’s Audi which was budget friendly, but lacking in all other aspects. The crush-bent, aluminized pipes was inadequately sized and poorly engineered. As a result, the assembly flowed, fit, and aged poorly; and frankly sounded bizarre. To further complicate the scenario, the old system was unserviceable, and had to be cut into three sections to be removed. We replaced it with a hand-fabricated, thoroughly engineered system which allows the natural bellow of the free-revving V8 to sing proudly while remaining silent and smooth when the driver does not call on the Quattro to accelerate with dispatch. All components are fabricated from 304 stainless steel, and parts which are exposed to extreme, sustained heat have been ceramic coated. As with all DDF systems, the assembly is built to be removed and installed by one person, in the easiest, most consistent manner possible. Regardless of how many times the system is removed, it can be reinstalled easily, and will never rattle or clank.
